A Poem a Day Keeps the Ignorance Away Read More »
This is my 365 project. I will be posting a photo everyday for 365 days. But it's really what's in the captions that count, the poetry. A poem a day. In this gallery is my original work, it will only be my poetry. I won't exactly be writing a poem one day and then posting it that same day. That's tricky. So I'll just post up poems that people haven't seen yet. Of course, I'll say when it was written.
-There are always little notes at the end of the poems.
-I wouldn't mind criticism or questions about the poems, at all.
-The titles of my poetry normally sum up what the poem is about. Sometimes not.
-I've come to notice that some of my poems are just rhyming rants.
-I've also come to notice that I use repetition in my poems.
-There are quite a few late days. >:(
-This whole project is mainly about the POETRY not the PICTURES.
-This whole gallery is enjoyable to literature nerds. ;D
Well, I can't think of anything else to write up here, so enjoy!

That Paragraph Makes You Look Fat.
You're showing too much information.
Why don't you put on some prose?
Accessorize with a metaphor or two.
But still your final draft is disgusting.
Your adjectives are all wrong.
You are such a hyperbole,
Look at the way you overdo the cliches.
Your diction makes you ignorant,
While my free verse shows my eloquence.
For a climax, I will admit one thing,
Your imagery is quite amusing.
And I hate the irony of our juxtaposition.
But alas, you are the antonym to my synonym.
-I quite LOVE the way I wrote this. Haha.
-Photo goes because of the first two lines. Except, look at it as "put on some clothes" instead of "prose"
